The hay is cut, bailed, and put in to the barn. YAY! All done before the rain. Barn doors have been painted, too. Nothing like the look of freshly mowed fields.
The barn roof is painted.

We celebrated Hayley Estelle’s graduation at Eaglenest. Jeanne and Cliff had lots of good food and grilled hamburgers and dogs in the evening. We got to see the Hellyer family and lots of Clan. Here’s the graduate with Jerome, Janet and sweet Juliana.

As I left this morning, the mists of Kelley Ridge took my breath away.
Mombo wanted to play in her own dirt. Here it is–the Patched Pants Garden. So far: cherry tomatoes, yellow tomatoes, okra, red bell peppers.
The first day of June. School is out for kids, but I am still there writing common assessments for first grade sequencing and inferences. After school I give Justin his piano lesson.
