Reception Preparation and Rehearsal Day!! We were at the hall at St. Louis Bertrand by 9 a.m. to meet the liquor man and start decorating. It was truly a community effort between the Miller family, the Adkins-Wood family, and the friends and wedding party of Kyle and Caitlan. KK escaped with Holly and other friends to get her bikini was and manicure/pedicure. By late afternoon, the room had been transformed into a New’s Year’s Eve wonderland of twinkle lights and gold/silver/black/red accents. We rushed to get ready for the rehearsal and then found out that the church had scheduled another event immediately after, so we had no time to spare. This made KK even more nervous, but Father Pat prioritized what needed to be said to those who needed to be there, and we left for Bistro 301 to have a really delicious rehearsal dinner provided by the Millers. Then to the Rocking Horse Manor B and B where our hosts John and Ricardo told us to be ready for breakfast at 9:30 a.m. We all hit the pillows exhausted.
